Abstrakt Sonance is a force like no other in the bass music world. Slaying every genre, plus experimenting into uncharted realms, Abstrakt is very known world wide with his dubstep and drum’n’bass. His influences and attitude were born from years of absolute madness, abuse, drugs, near death and a desire to use these negatives as a positive and create something new, something that constantly evolves with him on his new life. His mind is now on a focused path to constantly create and share his message and music with the world.
With constant shows, and tours slowly tracing around the globe, Abstrakt Sonance will no doubt be a name, and a face, you wont soon forget.
His label, West Ave Productions is also constantly releasing new work, new names and amazing collabs with Abstrakt at the helm producing next level beats and music to take his families work to forefront of their scenes.
Canadian west-coaster, and Future Bass aficionado, Shylow, aka Mitch Mckinnon, has been quietly honing in on his own unique style and catching the attention of Westwood’s own, The Funk Hunters. With a fresh track, titled “Help Me,” already under his belt, which garnered support from various well known DJ’s, including the likes of Don Diablo, had instantly put a watchful eye on what’s to come. It is safe to say, that 2017 looks to be an explosive year, with an ever growing list of new tracks and remixes ready to be released along with an expanding presence within west coast bass culture, Shylow is undoubtedly one to watch out for.
Born and raised on the Shuswap Lake, young Jellynote was exposed to a wide variety of sounds that little did he know would begin to shape his future musical journey. An avid listener of Hip-Hop and Metal/Post Alternative Rock growing up, his first eye opening experience with Electronic Music came by pure chance. After winning tickets to see EDM pioneer Skrillex, he was instantly drawn to the production and performance that he recalls as being “revolutionary”. At this time a bold and adventurous 21 year old Tim had followed his love of snowboarding to Sun Peaks, B.C. It is here that he befriended a resident DJ at the local club who took him under his wing and his DJ/Production career really took flight. Within 6 months he had taken up Ableton and a newly formed addiction to see the reaction of crowds of any size to the songs he had produced or remixed had begun. With a constant dedication to his craft, impeccable timing, diversity and a longing to be part of the progression of experimental bass music, Jellynote was born. His sounds, described as drippy, low end, space age hoodrat beats have captivated fans all across BC and culminated this past year in his first ever appearance at Shambhala Music Festival 2018 on the Amphitheatre stage. Undeniable stage presence and well received releases on highly reputable labels such as MalLabel have him poised to be one of the most exciting up and coming DJ/Producers in Western Canada. Also keep your eyes peeled for the Antidote EP releasing soon!

Based out of Kelowna BC, Wublin aka Ryland Laflin has been around the music industry since a young age.
First introduced to the scene at a local festival, it didn’t take long for his passion to take control before he jumped into the life of a DJ. After he purchased a small beginner controller and began to dabble with FX, minor scratching, and beat matching.
It wasn’t long before the other local DJs began to notice. Word began to spread and today, this talented high school student is now getting booked weekly. Eager to take his profession to the next level, Wublin dove into music production by attending the The Centre for Arts and Technology’s, Audio Engineering Program. All while smashing festivals and live performances all through-out Western Canada. Already having the incredible experience of sharing the stage with some of the industry’s top artists such as Woofax, Mat the Alien, Perkulator, Abstrakt Sonance, Defunk, K+Lab, and many more.
